What our clients say.
Visa renewals: your questions answered.
When should I apply to extend my visa?
As early as the rules allow, and always before your current visa expires. Applying late can affect your right to stay, work or study. We check your deadline and the earliest date you can apply.
Can I stay in the UK while my extension is decided?
If you apply before your current visa expires, you can usually stay in the UK on the same conditions while you wait for a decision.
What is a UK eVisa?
The UK has replaced physical biometric residence permits with eVisas, which you access through a UKVI account. We help you set up your account and keep it updated, for example when you get a new passport.
Can I switch to a different visa?
In many cases, yes. For example, students in the UK can often switch to the Graduate visa, and Graduate visa holders can switch to a Skilled Worker visa with a job offer. We check what is possible for you.
What happens to my family’s visas when I extend mine?
Family members whose visas depend on yours usually need to apply too. We prepare their applications alongside yours so everyone stays covered.
How early should I apply in Canada?
IRCC recommends applying at least 30 days before your status expires. If you apply before it expires, you can usually stay on maintained status while your application is processed.
What if I am in Australia when my visa ends?
If you apply for a new visa in Australia before your current one expires, you will usually be granted a bridging visa so you can stay lawfully while you wait.
Do I need to come to your office?
No. Most renewal clients are already abroad, so we work with you by phone, WhatsApp and email.
